Revocable Living Trust Package
There are many advantages to using a Revocable Trust as part of an estate plan, including some that vary by state. Some of the advantages include:
-Help a settlor avoid or minimize probate, including ancillary probate.
-Typically allow for seamless control of the settlor's assets on incapacity.
-Typically allow for seamless control of the settlor's assets on death.
-Are more likely to help a settlor maintain privacy than a plan with only a will.

Revocable Living Trust (Stand-Alone)
A settlor with capacity may modify a revocable trust agreement at any time during the settlor's life by either:
-An amendment (see Amendment).
-A restatement (see Restatement).
The settlor may wish to modify the trust for several reasons, including:
A major life event, such as marriage, divorce, or the birth of a child.
-To add or remove beneficiaries.
-To change the distribution scheme.
-To add or remove successor trustees.
-To modify trustee powers.
A settlor with capacity may modify a revocable trust agreement at any time during the settlor's life by either:
-An amendment.
-A restatement.
